Case Study - Tottenham Hotspur FC

Event Type: Attraction for new superstore launch

Aim:  
To provide the customers with an added attraction. To allow them to interact, have fun, and try to win prizes on our Golf simulator. The event ran alongside The Masters golf tournament.

We were contacted by Tottenham Hotspur to ask if we had any availability to use one of our golf simulators to run alongside the Masters tournament. Although this was a busy time for us, we were able to provide this. However, it wasn’t a straightforward set up. They didn’t want to use our protective enclosure as they wanted to project the images onto their big screens for all of the guests to be able to see. 
 
This led to other prospective providers to pull out at this stage as this stage as it wouldn’t be safe without the enclosure. When we are contacted for a service we try everything possible to ensure we can provide what the customer needs. With this in mind we visited the location to see if there was any way it could be done. 
 
After assessing the situation we were able to source a safe driving net which allowed anyone in the store to be able to see the projected image on the big screens. We provided a risk assessment and our PL insurance and we were given the go ahead to proceed with the event. 
 
During the week we ran a Nearest-the-pin competition on our simulator with the winners at the end of the eek winning prizes provided by the club. 
Result: 
 
The event was a massive success, with people who have never played golf before coming and trying their luck. We had families who stayed in the store for much longer and even had people returning the next days. We now opened talks to be the primary event supplier for the club for the new season.
